Game locking on death or at end of tutorial area.

Looking for a solution to the game locking up on death or at the end of the tutorial area.

I was wanting to start a new game but the game seems to be broken. In the tutorial area, if I die, the game goes to the greyed-out view after death and I can continue to hear the environmental sounds, but it just stays stuck there. No input responds and this lockup will not time out. I have to ALT-F4 to get out of the program.

This also occurs if I don't die in the tutorial area and meet Sayla (ear-girl) and she invites me to her shelter. The screen fades out and I can still hear the environmental sounds, but it is locked up similar to when I die. Problem seems to be with transitions or loads.

I also have a previous save, 51 hours into the game. If I die in that game, it also locks in the same manner as death in the tutorial area.

So, the game is completely broken for me, which is heartbreaking as I love revisiting all the Far Cry games every few years.

I have followed all the listed help provided on this forum (driver, file locations, etc) and I have run Steam, Ubisoft Connect and Far Cry Primal all in Admin mode. Nothing helps.

Hope someone can help or Ubisoft is listening. I see others on this forum with the same issue...so something is broken somewhere.
