Does recommended mean it will be enough for stable 60 or 30fps? It was a guessing game almost every time with last year's titles. I wish every modern game system requirements had this clarification.

I'm guessing that recommended would mean the game runs smooth (60fps) at medium settings or so, but then again that's just a guess.

I would also like to see more specifics on what recommended translates to (in general), and also a requirement for max settings to run at 60fps as my rig is a bit overkill compered to the recommended, but that doesn't mean it will run smooth on ultra settings..

Reading the above guide I learned alot about why my max fps in FC:4 is 55 at 1360x768 utilizing one GTX 980, everything on and maxed ultra.

I would guess it also will apply to FC: Primal

Yeah, i also learned FC4 recommended specs were for 30fps only after i bought it.. On my rig, stable 60 with very medium settings only. Maxed it out, set to 40fps lock, was pretty decent with a gamepad, but still a shame after super smooth 60 in FC3. I guess Primal will go the same.

Hmmm... you'd be surprised at what settings I run Far Cry 4 at on my secondary pc (Alienware Alpha which has an 860m gtx laptop low-grade gpu) I know it will be able to play this just fine :)

Just curious... will someone who attempts to run it on a dual core kiss black (white) screen ?

I'm no expert, but it seems the minimum required is also dual core so in that case I don't see why it shouldn't work. If you want to compare yours to the minimum just go here [cpuboss.com] and enter both cpus, and you will get a rough comparison :-)

Ubi prevents many types of dual core cpus (not i3) from even entering the game, they did it in FC4, they did it in The Division Beta forcing people to use Extreme Injector to bypass this restriction, as a result we have a lot of forum threads here and on the ubi forums "blah-blah-blah I run the game and hit black screen" though it could happen for various reasons the most frequent of them was a dual core cpu and after 20+ pages of duscussion someone from ubi support appears and says "sorry we do not support dual core cpus, thanks for understanfing". This is why I'm asking.

Ah didn't know that. Looks a bit grim them.

I guess there is only one thing to do to find out, wait until the game comes out, buy it and try, if it works it works, if not refund :) remember as long as you ask for a refund within 14 days of purchuse and with less then 2h played time, you'll almost guarantied to get full refund, good way to see if games work or not, done it a couple of times myself :)

Lol It takes one click to view someone's post history. Realistically, where is the effort in that? Nice trolling though :)
