Looking forward to your thoughts once you get your hands on the game!
Unfortunately coop is a must for me. Too bad
~Kat
This is great news and the reason I will buy!
Single player was always an option for the original game so no co-op would have no effect either way if you played single player anyway.
We are focusing entirely on creating the best possible Far Cry experience for our fans.
As it usually, the developers announce the opinion of ghostly fans. :)
coop=buy now
coop=cost-effective
coop=300 hours +
no coop 100 hours is over.
Singleplayer=cost-effective
Singleplayer=300 hours +
coop 100 hours is over.
Now that's bs if I've ever read any. I love my single player games, but adding co-op to it easily doubles the amount of game time. It certainly doesn't lessen the game time. That doesn't make any sense.
Dying Light, or even Far Cry 4, for examples. I played the games almost entirely by myself, and where I would have stopped playing with any other single player game, I get an almost entirely repeat play through by doing the co-op campaigns as well.
Even Black Ops 3 is a good example. Up to 4 player co-op made the campaign a completely new experience.
Having said all that, I still plan to get this game. I love my single player games, but where I would have bought a game like this full price with a co-op mode, I'll probably wait for a sale. Co-op and multiplayer games you want to jump on top of being able to play with your mates that are also playing at that time. Single player games can wait. They're not going anywhere.
+1. Agree.
