Izila homeland mission triggered early

I was just exploring, gathering collectibles and doing side missions,I have not played much of the main story yet, (I`m doing every side activity and quest first), and decided to head out to an unknown part of the map, which turned out to be the Izila homeland. Izila homeland quest was then triggered, and it seemed about halfway, that it was a very full on mission, so after googling it, I found out it´s the last mission of the game? Luckily I always manually save, and I abandoned the quest, as I was being told to kill a character I havent been introduced yet, and I would be skipping pretty much the entire story... My overall percentage done of the game is 74%, but I have been collecting stuff, and doing side missions mostly. Story wise I have done maybe 4 or 5 missions.

Has this happened to a lot of you? Is it possible at all to gather all collectibles before finishing the main story? That is usually my M.O on Far Cry games, and if I can only go into Izila homeland on the very last mission, then I am assuming that is impossible?

I guess you mean the mission where Batari has to be killed. But you can only do this if you have stolen Krathi's mask before (this is a different mission). So you don't have to be afraid to skip the other missions. Without the mask you won't get into Batari's fortress. And no, it is not possible to harvest all the collectibles without doing some of the main missions. For example, you need the skill " Poison Gas Protection" (food menu) to even enter the northeastern area (Ull's home). But you can only get this skill if you first do Salya's "Nothern Yellow Leaf -Mission" and for this you need Tensay's "Visions of Fire" first...

Hey Mark.

I have tried recording the bug, but I havent been able to replicate it. It seems that at least for now, it was a one time thing. If it ever happens again I will record and post the video and request further assistance.
