Fatal Error file system error

"C:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\far cry primal\bin\data_win32\engine\shaders\materialdescriptors\material_list.txt" this is the error im getting,there is no data_win32 file in my bin folder only an output folder and there is nothing in that folder except an empty x86-x64 folder, i don't know what to do, i disabled compatibility mode tried uplay online and off still getting this error and i verified integrity cache file through steam

i don't see anyone else having this issue

try to verify your game files why running as an administrator

next .. try close all backround applications too like fraps ,afterburner, riva tuner , evga precision ... they may have a problem with the game far cry 4 did ... for some people

also if you installed windows 10 as an upgrade from a previous operating system see this post on the Ubisoft forums , some times on an upgrade you lose access and some account privilages

thx but the error is file system error and i believe it cause my games file structure is totally different than the error's file stucture

i verified the games files already and still getting the same error i purchased the apex edition if it's any different in the file structure

dunno i have the regular uplay version .. worked perfect on 2 of my 3 systems both have windows 10 ..one has home the other has PRO

the one that had problems when i installed it was an old win 7 machine i have (an old Dell Dimension E 520 )

solved that by rebooting then trying it after windows 7 said it detected a compatabilty issiue
and told me to reboot and try the game again .. it launched but ran bad (that system only has 6 gig o ram and an old AMD 5770 1 gig vid card )

my desktop (win 10 Pro ) that i run the game on is an old core 2 quad with a GTX 960 8 gig of ram .. game runs perfectly , still running nvidia driver 359.06

laptop has win 10 home AMD A10 cpu and Dual AMD graphics +16 gig o ram
game launched perfect there as well

if you have more then one screen hooked up disconnect all but one

as some users said the game will not launch if you have multiple screens connected

then reconnect your monitor after you get the game activated and launched one time and change your resolutions

and the error code your getting usually indicates a missing file or corrupt installation

that set of files should be in one of the . dat or .fat pak files

hence i said try to verify your game files while running Steam as an Administrator .. i have seen it take Steam 3 times on a file verify some times to pick up a missing or corrupt install

and you should always launch Steam as an Admin when you do a file verify

as some times it will not change the files since they reside in a program files location

try shutting off your antivirus too when you do a file verification

if that fails contact UBISOFT support by Phone

You can also call them on the phone during regular support hours <--(BEST OPTION)

yeah my data_win32 folder is in the far cry primal folder not in bin folder it installed through steam there also is no engine folder this is really wierd

thats what i mean that file your error is referenceing should be in a .dat or . fat packed file

your BIN folder should be sperate from the data_win32 folder

so thats ok if its not in the bin folder

that file is not even listed

the only difference between your game and mine is you have the DLC and a few more pre order bonus stuff unlocked ..thats all in the packed files already ..at least the stuff they released so far ..

all i have unlocked with my version is the pre order bonus content the legend of the mammoth since i got my game off green man gaming why they had the pre order version still available the morning of day the game shipped - it was on sale for only $39.99 there

so i think some how you have a borked install ..did you try to wipe the game and redownload it yet ?

just got done reinstalling, i did wipe it clean had to reboot into safe mode to delete a folder

wooh that did it a reinstallation of the game fixed this wierd ass error thxs for sticking with me -=SOF=-WID99 very much appreciation cuz
