try to turn down your resolution to 720 P .. even FarCry 4 had problems with a GTX 750 Ti card
see http://www.hardocp.com/article/2015/01/07/far_cry_4_video_card_performance_review/8#.Vt8gmZwrIdU
Now we come to the cheapest cards in this evaluation, the GTX 750 Ti and Radeon R7 260X. The GTX 750 Ti is based on first generation Maxwell, and 260X is based on newer GCN than 290X or 290. However, even those architecture changes can't save these for performance. Neither one was able to play well at 1080p with any decent quality settings. To make either one playable at 1080p you'd have to play at "Low" settings, and turn off AO. Basically, it makes the game look like crap.
Our only option was to drop the resolution to 720p, 1280x720. At this resolution we could raise the settings quite a bit, providing a better image quality in the game. We were able to set both to "Very High" settings, which is just one step down from "Ultra" quality. So even at 720p, these still cannot maximize image quality in the game, we still have to sacrifice some level of image quality. Also, no Godrays. So these video cards are very slow for this game despite these having newer architectures. These cards just can't cut it.
I realize Farcry sells itself partly on having lush evironmental graphics, but it's either the engine or hardware (or both) that aren't playing together nicely with the rest of my computer and I doubt either company is terribly concerned about solving the issue either way. It's not exactly the newest video card, even if it is a trooper. I'm still suspicious of a memory leak, but I have no real idea about this stuff, so that's basically just an ignorant guess anyway.
I blame ghosts.
edit yep its windows updates, just turned game off and there it is waiting to install/restart now lmao
i think its just bad drivers and the game needs a a ptach . .FarCry 4 had a bad memory leak in in in patch 1.5.0 ..so its possible..
and as far as drivers .. go look on the Nvidia forums today .. they hosed quite a few peoples systems with that last driver .. they have a beta one up now 364.51
and ya gotta feel bad for any AMD users once ya look in the release notes for Primal and see the last tested driver for this game on an AMD card was from May of 2014 ??
hell drivers that old dont even support the 300 series vid cards
you can turn em off etc, (do manually) but i just leave it myself.
I've just got home to look and yes it's downloading 4 updates, so will wait for them to finish turn it off and then see how my game runs. Fingers crossed this fixes the issue, as it runs fine on my brother's computer and his is the same as mine graphics wise etc.
Shane has Far Cry Primal 53 minutes ago
Its not broken, its just boring...
If there was no missions, it would be perfect !!
really Shane?
