Anyone else had this problem how do you fix it?
I bought this game, for my gaming pc and was under the impression my pc could play it fine. It's not at recommended but beats the minimum requirements. It played fine for the first half hour then all of sudden now it has become beyond stupidly laggy. I can't play the game atm and I am gutted. My systems are windows 10, Intelcore i5-6400 processor, RAM is 8gb, graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX750 I am aware this is not the recommended but beats the minimum so I don't understand why it's not playing. Help.

try using razer cortex yet ? it may help
http://www.razerzone.com/cortex

try to turn down your resolution to 720 P .. even FarCry 4 had problems with a GTX 750 Ti card
see http://www.hardocp.com/article/2015/01/07/far_cry_4_video_card_performance_review/8#.Vt8gmZwrIdU

Now we come to the cheapest cards in this evaluation, the GTX 750 Ti and Radeon R7 260X. The GTX 750 Ti is based on first generation Maxwell, and 260X is based on newer GCN than 290X or 290. However, even those architecture changes can't save these for performance. Neither one was able to play well at 1080p with any decent quality settings. To make either one playable at 1080p you'd have to play at "Low" settings, and turn off AO. Basically, it makes the game look like crap.

Our only option was to drop the resolution to 720p, 1280x720. At this resolution we could raise the settings quite a bit, providing a better image quality in the game. We were able to set both to "Very High" settings, which is just one step down from "Ultra" quality. So even at 720p, these still cannot maximize image quality in the game, we still have to sacrifice some level of image quality. Also, no Godrays. So these video cards are very slow for this game despite these having newer architectures. These cards just can't cut it.

Whenever I play Primal it starts OK, but the longer I play it the more laggy it gets. After 2 or 3 hours I have to quit the game then reload it and everythings fine again. This is with Win10, i7-2600K, 8GB RAM & a Radeon 7950. It sounds like it could be a memory leak seeing as the performance slowly worsens over time.

I have this problem with Primal, and Farcry 3 (I think) + 4 as well. I'll just go ahead and assume the GTX 760 is in the same boat and try dropping the resolution. It'd be nice to see if this works. Pretty annoying.

Tried bumping my resolution down to the lowest 16:9 I could get. Still had the same problem and it came on in roughly the same amount of time. I'll try bumping all of the graphics options down to the lowest available tomorrow. I was playing on normal graphics with high textures. The Division and many other modern graphics heavy games play smoothly on roughly the same or better settings in my native resolution.

I realize Farcry sells itself partly on having lush evironmental graphics, but it's either the engine or hardware (or both) that aren't playing together nicely with the rest of my computer and I doubt either company is terribly concerned about solving the issue either way. It's not exactly the newest video card, even if it is a trooper. I'm still suspicious of a memory leak, but I have no real idea about this stuff, so that's basically just an ignorant guess anyway.

I blame ghosts. :summerghost:

Hey are any of you guys using the Xbox App game DVR feature? I had the same issue you guys are describing turned it off now it runs great.

yea i shut that all off when i first installed win 10 .. loved how microsoft forced you to log in with a microsoft account just to shut it the hell off

i think its just bad drivers and the game needs a a ptach . .FarCry 4 had a bad memory leak in in in patch 1.5.0 ..so its possible..

and as far as drivers .. go look on the Nvidia forums today .. they hosed quite a few peoples systems with that last driver .. they have a beta one up now 364.51

and ya gotta feel bad for any AMD users once ya look in the release notes for Primal and see the last tested driver for this game on an AMD card was from May of 2014 ??

hell drivers that old dont even support the 300 series vid cards

Ooh my computer did this last night could this explain why? My computer is literally 4 days old so I'm assuming from my previous eexperince it still has a lot of updating to do? It's really weird because I even tried taking it out of fullscreen, lowering the graphics to as low as possible and if anything it got worse. So could updates be my problem?

could be yes mate, some people have a lot of software set to auto update too, but when mine does a window update dam farcry primal really wont run well, yet when no updates im running full ultra. and windows updates i believe by default happen at stupid o'clock so if it was late then probably.

you can turn em off etc, (do manually) but i just leave it myself.

I hope this is the answer as I pnaicked the other day when I turned it down to low and the resolution right down, and it actually seemed worse. Fingers crossed hey.

there is a memory leak, and Ubisoft knows about it and choses not to fix it

I've just got home to look and yes it's downloading 4 updates, so will wait for them to finish turn it off and then see how my game runs. Fingers crossed this fixes the issue, as it runs fine on my brother's computer and his is the same as mine graphics wise etc.
