Bloodtusk Mammoth Skull?

So I just killed the Bloodtusk Mammoth and skinned it to retrieve the skull. My question is what's it's purpose? It seems no one knows what the skull does.

it is placed at your main city. left of the entrance to your cave.

when you kill it there is a pop up that tells you that.

Yeah, it doesn't actually "do" anything. It is just a decoration outside your cave.

as far as i know the skull in your camp is there right when you upgrade your personal house tent cave thingy

i wouldnt call it a cave its more of a "man cave"
