Finding badgers

I need to hunt some more badgers but its very hard to find them. I am in the area where they should stray around but when I throw my bait, no badgers come. Is there any trick? Are they only around during the night? I managed to tame one before but havent seen any badger since then.

The south west area ( Through the tunnel ) is a good place to find them after you've taken that large village just outside it I found 3-4 badgers in a few minutes.

There's a dangerous area south east on the map fraught with Cave bears and Badgers, and there's also a particuarly safe area just south of the center of the map - though I could never find them there.

Make sure you skill up before attempting to tame one!

I usually end up hearing them before seeing them. Listen for their chittering when you are walking around.

Hey, just find a Cave Bear running around looking stupid, there's a badger there somewhere and the bear can't handle it.

Yeh lol the Badgers apparently terrify other wildlife.

They won't come when you throw meat, you have to find them then throw the meat to distract them

They basically have to be attacking you before you can throw the meat. Just look at where the map says there's a badger, and look in that general area

Run around the area with hunter vision on until you spot one then tame/kill it, hop between badge locations on the map if you want tons of them

Never had a problem,they always seemed to find me and to chew on me . lol
