what the hell is a rare deer

i need to kill a rare deer and a super rare wolf to complete the last 2 huts IT IS ALL THAT STAND IN MY WAY OF BEI NG M ASTER OF MY DOMAIN. but I CANNOT FIND EITHER ONE a)DOES you have to hunt at night?? b)is there a good location?? c)anything else???

Rare animals you will find while tracking in hunt mode .
If you see scent trail , follow it , that is the rare animal .
That is how you find the white Deer and Wolf

I've seen the rare deer a couple of times in the north end of the map - about 1/4 of the way from the west side (below the snowy areas). For the wolf, I've encounterd him a couple times - and strangely, it was looking for badgers - so look for a wolf area near the badgers..
