Why the bad reviews?

I sat and read through a handful of the negative reviews and 99% of them are about not being able to launch the game because of ubisoft errors. How does a game recieve such a large majority of negative reviews due to launch issues on the release day? There are tons and tons and tons of games that I have had launch issues with that were fantastic games such as World of Warcraft or the most recent batman. Ubisoft is going to patch these issues and then the game will be stuck with a huge majority of negative reviews which are not even relevant.

Has anyone actually played the game and can comment on the gameplay which is the only thing I care about, not the poor optimization or launch errors?

Just throwing out another thank you to the people who understood the point of this post and have commented valuable information even though 80% of the posts are just flaming. Its unreal how toxic the community is.. 8 pages with 110 comments and maybe 15 of them are useful, the rest are just flaming and bashing each other.. ridiculous.

People that cite launch issues as a reason for a negative review are like people that give bad reviews for a product on Amazon when their package delivery has been messed up.

Also, I believe a lot of the hate is from people who think that there's some kind of contest between Far Cry Primal and games like ARK.
