Black Screen with Sound after cutscene

Nothing loads up...and no buttons work. It is the cutscene after you save the girl...anyone else having this problem?

Yes, well not after any cutscene, just as the game loads. I click New Game, see the loading bar at the bottom, once it reaches the end, I hear a male and female voice for a few seconds, then nothing. Just sits on that screen with the music playing in the background.

But just when I thought I have fixed it, now it won't even load properly.

I see. I hope this gets fixed in an update, or that the Nvidia Drivers for the game come out, although I doubt that would help.

Agreed, though I'm opting for a refund for this and also for The Division too. Hope you manage to get it working.

First, I followed the steps here: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1398911-Game-freeze-after-click-play?p=11427101&viewfull=1#post11427101

After that I updated drivers, restarted PC, verified files, windows had an update, and I ran it as an admin just in case. It works now.
For those having this issue, you can tell if it is fixed by trying to save or restart during the tutorial, (if you can't, and it says it is autosaving, its still messed up), or just get killed by a mammoth to see if it doesn't freeze.

You don't have to beat the whole tutorial to see if its working. Good luck.

I am able to save during the tutorial, it is only the cutscene after you save the girl that I am unable to save and quit, and the screen just goes black. I have to alt tab for the esc menu to show up.

Where is the fix for this. Come on Steam and Far Cry, this issue is over one year old and it is still a problem! Refund please.

i got the exact same problem and sadly this also happened back in 2017 so i just stopped playing this game and waited for an update. and here i am
