That being said, I cannot agree with regards to draw distances and the PC, from what I have seen. I cannot speak for XBO or PS4. I thought the fire and water look pretty damn good. Also, fire spreads quite abundantly, so I am sure that there may have been some tradeoff between functionality and beauty.
I believe they need to patch the PS4 version, the way it is now, cleaner or not it should not look the way it does. It's basically a whiteout, everything is overly bloomed, Iike I said, I enjoy the game, though compared to FC4, it's substantially inferior in a lot of ways.
In this comparison, in all honesty I selected the PS4 version due to this comparison, IMO PS4 looks much more colorful and lively in this video for FC4:

When I play FC4 on ultra it doesn't look as washed out as it does on this video, something odd going on.
Secondly both versions appear to be running at 30fps, a smoother image is a superior image.
