The procedure entry point DiscardVirtualMemory could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.
Reinstalled uplay twice, verified integrity, still gives error

Looks like Ubisoft either dropped Win8- support in their client or they did it by mistake.

Better switch to Win10 since in half a year Steam will stop supporting older OSes too.
