Crappy graphics

Please can someone explain to me, is it my settings or is it the game? Game looks terrible. I runt it on 3440x1440, everything on ultra, vsync off, fxaa off. And still it is so bad I cant even discribe it.

If I approach something close it looks alright but far away in the distance it looks aweful, especially vegetation ....
FarCry 4 was MUCH better
Anyone else with same issue?

I think the issue is just with you son. The game looks on par with FC4, maybe a little more refined.

You are indeed correct, the graphics are crappy. I have proof:

They are releasing improved textures with tomorrow's patch.

It looks fantastic today, if you have poor attention to detail.

You need your eyes testing! FC Primal has to be one of the best looking and well optimised games of 2016. Post some photos... Running at 1080p on an AMD FX 8370, 980ti and 32GB Ram and a 27" G-Sync monitor. Ultra settings and V-Sync off.

most very far away background ,, be 10k year ago ice cap polish mountains ,,take some tousend year more before it be any vegitasion to talk about ,,why it looks bare and naked ??

With a 2K moniter and 2ea 980ti's thia game has the best graphics I have ever seen without doubt.

SMAA doesn't work in SLI, so you want AA off or you get stuck with FXAA and it's just a blurry mess.

I haven't played it with the 4k texture pack, but before I refunded it, I remember commenting that the graphics were definitely not as crisp as FC4. They likely used low-res console level textures in the PC version initially until they released the higher quality textures in the recent patch.

I agree with you High. I have Farcry4 for ps4 and it runs better than Farcry Primal for pc even I got the HD DLC after. The worst: the game is choking or stopping sometimes. I have a decent pc as well but not so good like yours.
