Ultra-Hardcore mode!
This mode will rob you of any survival and you can know the story and all mechanics by heart, and you will still die trying.

How to play!
Turn the game on expert survivor mode, with permadeath on, turn off ALL indicators, detection indicators, health bar, energy bar, all of them, every single one EXCEPT the item pickup readout. Turn off the hunter vision, aim and melee assist are optional because it real life you can turn your body and head alot faster and without aim assist in this game it will be too hard, in real life its easier to quick aim. Turn off the reticle.

How to play this mode without dying.
While raiding an outpost or fort the stealth way, if you are spotted, RUN!!!!
While fighting things like bears and tigers, what you can do is run away from it, as soon as it is right behind you, turn left and jump, then face towards the beast and shoot it, repeat until it is dead.
Bitefish will be super difficult to hunt, throw bait, and when a bitefish comes, shoot it, jump in the water and check around for more bitefish, if none, skin the fish, if so, throw more bait.
Nothing can kill you instantly, you will go into the danger state when health goes all the way down (grey screen and muffled hearing), fire and poison will not put you in that state, but rather kill you instantly when the health is drained.
To avoid being attacked by certain animals, while traveling, keep a lit club in your hand, as it will scare off most predators, and stays on fire longer than the spear.
It is best to sleep at night, night is very dangerous, but if you must go, do the torch method and to avoid predators that do not fear fire, use the scent camoflauge.
Riding a tiger, bear or mammoth is useful too because they can give you extra melee damage, and most attackers will attack the animal, not you, mammoths especially because they kill in one hit!! Even other mammoths!

How to recognize your health level, energy level, etc.
You can recongize low health because of the blood on your screen when low on heatlh, or grey screen when in the danger state.
You can recognize low energy because Takkar will huff and puff and run slower, and that stuff.
You can recognize when you are cold because there will be ice on your screen and Takkar will sound like he's freezing and shivering.

Great to know those things are togglable. I thrive on the thrill, excitement, and sense of achievement of difficulty. You just made me want the game more, thanks. :2016watermelon:
Bought this game only for this reason, I like no HUD (well designed) experiences, immersive FOR REAL, developer exploring the potential of design for the old school players that like challenge and not giving up with a UI that just could be designed by the first person on the street.
Good games are super rare, most is just business today. I got shocked by Ubisoft AC Odyssey, super streamlined. No HUD is just a broken promise unfortunately: they force you to have a lot of stuff, anyway even if you select "No HUD", there will be still stuff appearing that ruin your "Sensitude" your exploration your will to discover with your eyes and OBSERVATION.

going back to this other Far Cry Primal Ubisoft GAME, I read many times also on these forums (that fortunately still work: they are a place of sharing for which I love internet and forums) that you can play the game in hardcore and, full immersion: I dnt like to break rocks or plants with 1 touch, I am more a RDR2\ KCD type of guy, not that it has to be super long but I like everything to be realistic.

I also wanted an AC Odyssey without Crosshair but unfortunately nexus mods do not work. I dnt like to put "TOO MUCH" mods on a game, as often they dnt work or break it...
Glad that Ubisoft development team have all this INCLUDED in this game here.

-Who actually developed this game? I would love to work with these kind of devs.

"Sorry" (apparently the "necroposting legend" is still strong in neo-internet users, even if it's just an excuse to ban people from bored moderators that don't give a fk of moderating properly forums but just want to exercise their violence) for bringin up an old topic. Accept my best regards, Take care.

OMG!...

When I read this ... I am like TRIPPIN! I love this stuff that touches the imagination and realism, I know it's hard. I hate aim assist, I play without it in AC Odyssey, I guess in Far Cry Primal is harder. I know that I have aim assist off inAC Odyssey but with reticle... but anyway after a little time of practice u know where this thing would shoot. So... it's just about training.

I just love this.. even before playing. Imagination is the KEY FOR everything.

- How the gameplay will be if I don't wanna use any crap like "domestication" of every animal? Should I accept this (even if it's not so unreal since this stuff exists even today) Should I use the taming things or if I wanna be realistic or avoid "TOO MUCH" crazy abilities like that the game will be unplayable for how hard it gets? A player that plays hardcore like this must use the animals taming\help or it's ok not to?

- EXCEPT the item pickup readout.? Can I actually play the game for the first time finding out about the items (even if not so realistic since I am not a 2 years old child that does not nothing about the world).. maybe I can turn this off later when I know about all the items (MY KNOWLEDGE goes up at the level of Takkar and I get his same ability state PLAYER- CHARACTER syncronicity )
