How do you throw rocks with keyboard and mouse?
I started off playing with the controller. After missing a ton of arrow shots I realized I needed to switch to the keyboard and mouse.

Problem is that nowhere in the list of keys to press in the game does it mention a way to throw pebbles to distract creatures.

Another question: Sometimes I see in game a yellow blob with the number of steps something is from me. I followed one, it was a fair bit underwater. Turned out to be a freaking alligator!

Was it actually warning me how far a dangerous (to me) creature was? Ya know, that would've been a pretty good thing for the in-game tutorial when I started playing...

Thanks!

Is there a secret to managing the spirit quest where you finally get the owl thing? Because I always wind up either going too high or crashing into something. It's really starting to get frustrating. I'm about THIS close to switching this game to Easy mode, but if I know ANYTHING about Ubisoft games, that'd basically be like little kid mode. And I'd STILL probably have the same problems managing the basics of the game (like flying the owl right).

I found online a list of components needed to build Sayla's hut. She hasn't asked me to build her one as yet. I presume that happens after I get more tribe members? How do you go about building huts?

Sorry if I'm being a pest. I really love this game, but DAMN it's tough!

You have to have a certain population at the main camp . And go after " rare " animals . Also collect everything that you see . It comes in handy throughout the game . Kill all animals till the certain hides are full .

The prompt will let you know when you have the resources to build it , plus look at the bottom right hand corner of the screen , little orangish color icons will appear when an upgrade is ready .

I go after everything . Every question mark and all . I do this in all Far Cry games .

One of the best series out there . This game is unique , thats why i give it 10/10

I don't know whether to give up on my current save or hope my nephew comes to town reasonably soon to get me through this ridiculously hard vision quest mission. It doesn't tell me how to control myself when I'm flying, and I keep on crashing into things and having to start the whole thing over. It's getting kind of tiresome.

There's nothing I hate worse than games that put an entire shelf of a game's playthrough behind some mission that purports to establish your "readiness" for a feature. Games like South Park and I think GTA 5 did that ♥♥♥♥ right at the beginning and I was forced to quit playing because I couldn't get past whatever arbitrary wall they built.

I'm 53. I've played Pong myself. And I've been playing video games nonstop ever since. I've been playing PC games since oh, 1986 or so?
