Shayu's Cave

I can't get out of this thing. I have it 'explored', but I can't find the exit. I just keep going around and around in a circle. Is there no way to view a cave map or local map so I can find how to get out. I finally just saved and exited next to the dead body if someone can tell me how to get out from there.

Well this is weird. I know I saved near the dead body in the cave, but last night when I loaded the game is put me in some camp site. I tried reloading and it just kept putting at a camp site and not where I saved. Not only that the map indicated that the cave was still 'explored', meaning I didn't lose any progress somehow. Can that be right or is this some save bug where only auto-saves are working?

The saving system puts you at the nearest campsite. It saves your progress (although not any missions which aren't fully complete), but not your location.
