Go into you system sound settings and if it's automatically set for 48000MHz, change it to 44 and see if that helps. It does me for some games. It may only be the sound card.

But for what my headset or in my case ASUS Realtek or is it steromix?

In your >Control Panel. Hardware & Sounds<, there's where your Audio Manager will be for your system & you'll have settings for it. I have Realtek HD Audio. I open it the go to the tab that reads, >Deafualt Format< and I have choice as to what I want to set the sound device at. Right now, mine is set @ 41800 Hz for 16 bit and I have no issues with games at that setting.

I use Kracken headphones and I some times adjusted those using Razer Synapse 2.0. I don't have that up & running right now and have been using Realtek for them. I just need to set L & R balance for I have lost 70% of my hearing on my left side. Makes it sort of hard for me in a lot of MP games, not hearing what's coming up on my left.

I'm not sure what all you need to do if, you're using Dx12, that's for W10, I'm still using W7. My card supports 12 but, my sytem doesn't.

Sorry, I don't really care for Discord. I really don't know anything about W10, either.
HunterKiller Mar 31, 2018 @ 7:06pm
I'll go though the motions and take screenshots of everything in Windows to give you and idea of what I done and you can match it up for W10. I'll do it tomorrow and load the up in imgur.com.

hi, 2023 and still no sound, any solution?
Amnesia*Haze Dec 11, 2023 @ 2:03pm
Hi Guys,
So the solution has been there all the time. I have found a video from 6 years ago showing how to fix this issue. (At least it has worked for me)

The issue lies in the DirectX files. All you have to do is delete some DirectX .dll files from System 32 folder and install latest DirectX from Microsoft website. This will install these files again and hopefully fix the issue for you guys as well.

Just follow steps in the video below.

The description seems to be missing download link for the latest DirectX, so here you go https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

for me none of this tips worked, what i had to do was use a stereo speaker to play cuz the game seems to dont recognize 7.1 audio
Rykion Sep 19, 2024 @ 8:33pm
The thing that worked for me was lowering the amount of speakers in Windows 11 More Sound Settings and then configuring speakers. Anything 7.1 or lower works for me and I can hear in-game sound effects and music. If I use Dolby Atmos or DTS:X, then only the cutscenes have sound. I use my Denon receiver and have a Dolby Atmos speaker setup, but can live without the extra speakers for this one game. Strange, as this is the ONLY game out of hundreds that doesn't work with Dolby Atmos or DTS:X.
DTS:X seems to be the superior choice.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Rykion.
Hopefully, it will be useful for other players with multi-channel systems.
I'm closing this thread now as resolved.

If anyone comes across other issues, please open a new one.
