Can't see the game. Starts on taskbar

I am on Windows 11 with Nvidia 3080 latest official driver.

When I click to load the game it starts an I see an icon on the taskbar and I hear the music but I can't get the game to 'open up' or come from the taskbar. Just does nothing. Even verify does nothing.

I don't have Java installed. Do I need to have?

No, you don't need to install Java for this.
Not sure what's happening, you could try pressing alt+enter when you hear the game starts, which should toggle the fullscreen/windowed mode. See if that at least makes something appear :)

You lead me on the right path! While the game is minimised I pressed alt+enter and it come up but it was very zoomed in. I have seen this before. It's because I'm using scaling in Windows. It's on 300% (default) on a 4k TV.

I went into install folder and used high scale overide on the .exe. Works fine now.

Thanks for the help. I did not know you could alt+enter a minimised program!

EDIT: Even if I put the game in 1080p or 'fullscreen' the game seems to minimise and come up scaled to big without doing what I said above.
