Bizarrely, I just like this game more than its sequels. There's a real simplicity to this game.

I think it's the element of unpredictability that leaves you having something new every time, like the AI is just straight up skitz sometimes, Belgium and Republican Spain will form an alliance in 1936 or Bulgaria and China in 1937 and plunge the world into a conflict between major powers way before the axis countries are even supposed to be ready
