[SOLVED] Stuck on suitcase puzzle [mild soilers]

Hey,
I can't get the suitcase to open. I've found the math book and the cassette tape, and I've tried about every combination I could think of. At one point Kathy even said that I'm overthinking and shoudn't do any math...
Any tips?

Did you let her think about all the things you are carrying? Using all options you get is a good idea in general.

yes. the blue, yellow, rd are references to the pages in the book. But I don't understand which numbers to put?

Here you go, from my upcoming walkthrough:
Remember the message on the tape (three red roses, a blue violet, two yellow tulips)
Take first three digits from the red bookmark, first one from blue, first two from yellow
235 1 31

as soon as kathy said outloud I was overthinking it the solution came to me. I was like could it really be that simple and yes it was

I really like how Kathy just staight out tells me I'm overthinking something or I need something more, her dialogue was very helpful in the course of the demo to guide me to where/what I was to do next.

Dammit .. I was so close, I kept thinking "3rd, 1st and 2nd" numbers rather than 3 1 and 2 as amounts .. duh!
