David Lynch references

Any other Lynch heads out there? While The Red Man is a pretty clear reference to The Man From Another Place from Twin Peaks, he also has a few direct dialogue references to the Mystery Man from Lost Highway: "We've met before, haven't we?" and "It's been a pleasure talking to you." Anything I missed?

The ex-sheriff (who was the sheriff in '81) is called "Sheriff Truman" - it was the name of the sheriff in Twin Peaks.

In the house by the lake there is an owl on the table and Kathy makes a reference along the lines that "I do not think they are other than they seem" - In Twin Peaks, there is the line: "The owls are not what they seem". In this house the music has a Badalamenti vibe too.

Lily (who suffers a tragic teen death in the water) is referred to as possibly having the name Laura (who is found, wrapped in plastic beside water, having suffered a tragic teen death). Lily, like Laura, is also said repeatedly to be the central hinge of the mystery.

Some of the names on tombstones in the cemetery are combinations of Twin Peaks names (Benjamin Hayward, Annie Blackwell (rather than Annie Blackburn)-- also a reference to the fabulous Blackwell games).

In both KR and TW the woods have a hidden entrance to Another Place, which is very Black Lodge-like once you get there, and confront a doppelganger or two.
