Early heads up regarding an upcoming update for the game

Hello all,

I wanted to give you an early warning on one element of an update we'll be releasing for the game in the coming week (currently scheduled for release on Tuesday 28th May).

Our next patch will include a fix for a save game issue that has been reported. We're keen to solve it, but the only way of doing so requires a fairly significant revision to the save system.

The upshot is that if you download the update, it will invalidate the progress on the Run you are currently playing. It will not invalidate your progress in any other part of the game (Corporate progression, completion of characters), just the Run you are currently playing.

Our advice is to finish any Run you are currently playing before downloading the update, but as an alternative we are also making the current version of the game available on a separate Beta branch for you to switch over to before the patch date, just in case you don't think you'll get the time to finish it. We strongly advise switching back to the main branch when you're finished though!

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, but we hope this will eliminate a slightly annoying save game bug and we believe it's better solving it earlier rather than later.
