Must be online in order to play

So i bought the game and wanted to play it. First of all it crashed the first times it launched and after I got that fixed, the game says 'You must be online in order to play' but i have a legal copy and my internet is working. Any fixes?

i have this problem aswell. i tend to just quit steam and keep trying

Sounds like a firewall issue, I would suggest to try disabling the firewall and then play.

Attention Developers: The scene has 'fixed' (removed) the online-only DRM. You may as well removed it from legitimate installations now, as your initial DRM-protected sales-window is over. The obtrusive DRM will now be potentially negatively effecting sales, since pirated versions need no internet connection.

Well the DRM lasted longer than most games , they will have to lower their price now as well

Has anyone found a fix for this in the end? I totally disabled my Anti-virus as well as firewall, and it still gave me this error. It's really frustrating since I just bought it and I cannot play it at all.
