May someone help?

After you pick up the Spawn Egg and try and look at the temple, the game goes to a black screen and nothing else happens. I was actually streaming the game when this happened, so it was a little embarrassing. Is there a fix for this? UPDATE : It's hilarious how simple the fix is: Don't look at/interact with the egg before looking into the chasm. That's it....

In that battle screenshot the enemies are 10 times taller than the player's character, and I assume they're supposed to be zombies and not giants. Surely that could have been easily remedied before coming to steam.

Alright, I need to start a fire in the Oil Room to procced, but I think I've scoured every part of the monastary that I can reach at this point. I'm not finding anything, and it's driving me nuts. Can I get a hint, please?
