Local multiplayer trouble...

such a riviting game, and I am stuck on the last achievement. "Play a game with friends" I go to the multiplayer tab, enter into play now. But how in the world do I get player 2 to select a character. i've pressed every button on the keyboard, and even entered in a gamepad to no avail.

This was one of the 1st Achievements I got. My friend and I did have trouble selecting characters, we didn't end up getting the guys we wanted to play as, anyways, It seemed like it to me that player 1 selects his guy with gamepad 1 and player 2 selects his guy with the mouse (even tho he's playing with gamepad #2)

Now there are issuse, Player 2 cannot use any weapons at all, but player 1 can. Now here's where it's funny. GamePad #2 can fire player 1's weapons. LOL, So even tho player 2 can not use weapons, you can use player 1's weapons. Hope that helps

Looks like I have the same problem as you :\ Choosing a character for player 2 was as far as I could go, only problem is, I cannot get the confirmation for player 2 which is really a bummer. Just like you, I tried gamepad/controller as well :S

Soo... excuse the dump question but is it possible for sure to obtain 100 % or could this local multiplayer problem stop you from getting the last achievement? :)

The game looks cute and I really like to get it but since i am a complete achievement ♥♥♥♥♥ I like to be sure i can get it to 100 % :$

This is the only thing stopping me from getting 100% and ive tried refiguring the controls (Which you cant do in game for whatever reason (Great developing skills right there) therefore spamming the game to everyone on my friends list.) Uninstallng and reinstalling did not do the trick either

I have a friend who completed the achievement. She waited until she unlocked all of the characters and did all of the other achievements to do the last one but I don't think that matters. She said she used 2 controllers. Not a keyboard + controller. I think we should try this. Maybe then the "confirm" for player 2 will show up idk.

I only read controller - doesn´t it pop with normal coop?
Cause we don´t even have a controller ö.ö

So in order to play local multiplayer I have to spend an extra 15-25 dollars on another controller... Great development

Hit the input tab at launch and setup all the buttons however you want. I don't see a need for a 2nd controller. Player 1 on keyboard player 2 on gamepad. Or both on Keyboard. Whatever you want.

I have changed every input on the launch (I don't know why there isnt a way to change inputs in game, and I have even less of a clue why there isn't a restore to default button)

doesn´t work anyway. no matter what i put in I can select for player 1 with 3 buttons (return, enter on numpad and even with w) but not for player 2. trying change it on the input tab doesn´t change that.
it´s nothing new that it´s not saving - the funny thing is: it has an option to delete your saved game in the option menu x'D

Regarding local multiplayer, we recommend using USB controllers as the resetting of keys with keyboard and mouse can sometimes be tricky, We have not experienced the save game issue here and we are still looking into it. When all else fails it is recommended that the game be uninstalled and reinstalled as this will reset the input key settings in all cases.

so in other words you made a game with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ option to change the input keys which requires you to get a controller in order to get 100% achievements which isn´t even for sure cause as the hulk pointed out before he tried a gamepad with no success. No offense but gj -.-
