Bombing Tiles
Hello again.

I've experimented with the Bomb Tile command a few times. I've tried it a few times on enemy infantry and a few times on enemy tanks. I'm not getting much results.

Historically, I don't think these bombs were really used for this purpose because they were so inaccurate.

Can someone give me some pointers on using this command? Specifically, in the Road to Leningrad / Minsk scenarios. Ty.

I take it you mean bomb ground unit? You are right they do not kill many, although the amount of disruption which turns into fatigue is far greater if you look at the detailed battle report. Automatic ground support flown by air during ground combat is three times more effective - so do not fly bomb ground unit missions if it means you will have less for ground support. Bomb ground units is more effective with higher detection levels and against lower fortification levels. For the soviets once you train up a group to higher experience and morale you can kill 1,000 Germans a turn. Given that German only makes 10,000 or so replacements a turn that is a significant chunk of their manpower just from ground bombing. Dedicated ground attack aircraft like the stukas and Il-2s are also more effective.

I didn't know the three times more effective part. That's helpful. Ty.
