How much will the game cost?

Noticed the delay of 2 weeks, I was really looking foward to playing tomorrow. Is it possible I may still be able to use my key (in some kind of beta or something)? or will i have to wait?

@Hazzmat We're still finalizing on the price, but we're going to price is at what we feel like is the most fair for the quality of the game.

@Shroompants Yeah, sorry about that, discovered some fatal bugs that would've made the game way too buggy if we launched it today! You'll be able to get it early, maybe as early as this weekend. Watch your inbox :)

I am too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hyped, my recent purchases on steam were ♥♥♥♥, i am bored as hell, looking at this game, with the unimaginable desire to play it. The universe wont let me.

Be damned, you filthy bugs, you shall not survive the big Bug-purge!

And now for my question:

Will there be any active gameplay besides moving around? I mean this whole Absorbtion concept is pretty unique, and some explanation would be great :)

@OmegaEdge you can also rotate your entire ship 90 degrees any time, which adds a lot of strategy that you'll definitely need for the harder difficulties. It makes the process of defending and attacking a lot more dynamic, depending on what kind of enemies you're encountering, what weapons you have, and how big your ship is.

Also, there's quite a variety of weapons throughout the game, and depending on your playstyle, it can really change your approach to them and which ones you prioritize. A lot of them can be really powerful if you use them right, but they can be tricky to get the hang of. :)

How do you Unlock Passive mode? Is it like some kind of Pacifism mode (Geometry Wars)
yaaaar Oct 2, 2015 @ 12:22pm
Beat normal mode ;)

Is this local or online coop? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.
Shadowspaz Oct 8, 2015 @ 6:47pm
The game is only local co-op, for two players- No online. Since we know not everyone will be able to find someone to play with locally, we don't have any content locked behind co-op achievements or anything like that.

Everything you can do in co-op, you can do in singleplayer as well.

That doesn't sound right... Afterglow is what I use and everything works via controller just fine. Is it hooked up prior to launching the game? What functions do you need the keyboard for?

I'd recommend adding a tag on the store page for "LOCAL co-op" as it is currently, there is only a "co-op" tag and no clarification of what type anywhere. I tend to seek out couch co-op games as i have limited gaming time these days and I tend to like to play with friends/family.

Thanks, looks fun!

Edit: I just went back to the store page and "local" is mentioned in the second to last line of the full description (which you have to hit "read more" to see) -- so it IS there, but make this more discoverable, please.
