Difficulties not unlocking permanently?

I cleared both tutorials but after quitting and entering again to try out co op mode, both easiest and easier have reset completely...

Are the difficulties getting locked again, or are the scores resetting?

I have a similar problem in that all of my progress has been reset. =/

Hmm... This is a known bug, but unfortunately, we have not had time to really dig into it. Have either of you played the game in offline mode, or on different computers?

I don't *think* I've played in offline mode, but when my laptop wakes up from sleep sometimes it takes thirty seconds or so for steam to go online, so it's as likely as not.

I have not played it on any computer but home PC and never in offline.

when offline, I noticed progress was lost.
it came back when online!

Just had the same issue and it also reset all the game's steam achievements which I didn't even know was something that could happen. All on the same computer with no restarts or anything in between. The post-game summary on steam even showed all the achievements I had gotten while saying I had none unlocked.
