change buffer count and super sample to 1. you should be good (or to 0 if it can be turned down to zero)
haha thats not a good computer
sorry but that does not count as good computer specs.. your using onboard graphics and only 4gb ram.. your graphics are really really bad, not good enough for only but the most basic games. You can't run any modern game in a decent resolution on that.

i have this pc and 2k16 is terribly slow, but 2k15 never lagged so thats why i bought 2k16
But aside from that: The 840M is somewhere in the lower mid-range segment so you should not expect to run NBA 2k16 smoothly with higher videosettings...
Even nVidia says: "the GeForce 840M is a perfect graphics solution for streaming HD videos, surfing the web, and enjoying entry-level gaming"... emphasis on "entrylevel".
