What do you mean too slow? Low FPS? If that's the case were you able to run 2k15? Also what are you computer specs? Just saying you have a good PC and the game is running slow gives up zero information and zero ability to help you....

change buffer count and super sample to 1. you should be good

Post your computer PC specs. Make sure they meet the minimum for the game.

when i was inbetween changing graphics cards last year, i tried playing on the built in intel graphics. it was crap. i would suggest a discrete gpu rather than an integrated

Just like MACHCHAMP SAID

change buffer count and super sample to 1. you should be good (or to 0 if it can be turned down to zero)

intel graphics? That's good? Since when? lmao but just do what everyone else said. Buffer count 0 and super sample 0

You need a more powerful rig, man. Time to upgrade.

As far as I know it cant be run smoothly on an Intel HD graphics. This graphics unit is to weak.

There is definitely an issue with the Intel Graphics in this years edition (I have Intel Graphics too). Last year ran smooth as silk as long as you turn settings to low. this year its a big problem.

sorry but that does not count as good computer specs.. your using onboard graphics and only 4gb ram.. your graphics are really really bad, not good enough for only but the most basic games. You can't run any modern game in a decent resolution on that.

i have this pc and 2k16 is terribly slow, but 2k15 never lagged so thats why i bought 2k16

It really seems as if the game would have some trouble with mobile GPUs...
But aside from that: The 840M is somewhere in the lower mid-range segment so you should not expect to run NBA 2k16 smoothly with higher videosettings...

Even nVidia says: "the GeForce 840M is a perfect graphics solution for streaming HD videos, surfing the web, and enjoying entry-level gaming"... emphasis on "entrylevel".
