it doesnt break the game for indivisual players, no. Although it makes my park realllllyyyy annoying.
They will make new tables,cânt stop them...
And player 2 hasn't played the game for 10 years. He just discovered it last year and has no knowledge of the fundamentals of real basketball. He treats it like the only place in his life where he is better than others. Since indeed this is the only such place.
If people want cheats for certain games. they are gonna figure it out and get it out there for others to use no matter what
Besides you think Cheat engine is gonna help? Seriously? Mr. Antifun already has a trainer out with the exact same functions. So has Lingon and guess what even the folks from Cheathappens do... and why? Because 2k is too lazy to fix the holes that allow them to have a trainer for a supposedly new game out in like 2 days.
See that's the point. I know how to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play. But I just can't be asked to go through the same grind again. I spend 300 hours or so on MyCareer alone in 2k11, the same in 2k12, the same in 2k13, the same in 2k14 and probably 500 hours in 2k15... all to get a legit 98 or 99 character with realistic stats (7'2 320 pound center, with a decent midrange game but mainly a beast on defense) and I got punked in MyPark constantly. Not by cheaters but by "legit" VC buyers and grinders who abused the idiocracy of 2k by creating a 7 foot small forward (which was possible without any cheats) who of course had way higher caps in speed, 3 point shooting and what not than my center. They also abused that in MyPark the there wasn't a set requirement for positions so they tended to band up and if you played with 2 smaller guys or even another normal center or pf and a small guy you were completely outclasses because they were faster than the centers and so tall that they could shoot over your little guys with ease.
So stop just blaming the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cheaters. The demigos could and were created because 2k is stupid. Furthermore: for all I care they can ban me from online play if they so choose because I couldn't give a ♥♥♥♥ anyway. As long as they treat me as a returning customer like ♥♥♥♥ I hold no loyality to them or their community.
I have bought every game since 2k11 even though 2k14 was basically 2k13 and even though 2k12 and 2k13 and 2k14 were never properly patched. I spend hundreds of hours grinding in all those installments. Why do I still have to pay full price for a game that is mostly a roster update? Why not give returning customers 5% per NBA 2k game they own off? Or give me 50.000 VC per NBA 2k Game I own? Why is my characters likeness imported yet not my stats or my rating? Why can returning players not get a free boost of say 5 points per game they own? I would be an 85 from the start which not only fits the story but would also reward me for my grinding. For all I care let everyone choose whether they want the free boost or not. Or get rid of VC and the employed system for good, here is my suggestion on how to do that which I have already posted in another thread:
Last but not least get rid of the VC. Employ a system that improves your player through playing. For example: you get a better inside scorer when you score easy buckets inside. The more you score and the more moves you pull of successfully the more your rating there will grow over time. To gain range you do the same thing. Every point in Inside scoring gives you 0,25 points in midrange shooting. And then do the same: take good shots and it will improve. Again: every point there gives you 0,25 points for the 3 point shot. And again. Same with rebounding, inside D, permiter D. The more you do it and the better you do it and the more you do it consistently the better you get and that without any caps. Same goes for athleticism... push your player hard enough when he is already out of gas and he will gain stamina in time and by running more he will start to become quicker.
No caps? That's right. No caps. Instead employ a system that takes into account your weight and height so that a 99 athletic center can maybe have a similar vertical to a point guard with the same stats but never the same quickness. Just look at the dash times for each NBA player, take the middle value (the average) per pound and inch and you will get a factor that roughly translates into how much speed you lose per pound and inch. You can employ the same strategy for vertical, for strength etc. because guess what? Due to analytics we have all this data and you can evaluate it and use it. Once you have that factor you apply it and you will see the difference in strength, vertical quickness etc. So why no caps if you apply a factor? Because there is still a lot of difference in the same height and weight category which means that there are centers who have 30 quickness and some are 99 for their position ( Amare Stoudemire in his heydays) to say the difference is only between 55 and 30 is ridiculous. If the difference is 60 it should be 60 and not 25.
It's fairly easy to also prevent cheating this way. Since you are not the one upgrading anything and you have no scale or what not on how many jumpshots away from another attribute rise you are, you can't hack it. And hacking the stats itself is easy prevented by having the servers regulary check your ratings against your stats in game or simply save your ratings on the server so they can only upgrade once your game tells the severs: hey this guy just hit 20 open threes so he should be rated an 87 in three point shooting now not an 82.
