anybody prefer last year's my career? I just started my second season and this is my opinion

Spike lee's story ended in 8 games, the story line makes no sense, we're not doing MY career, we're all doing the same story about a guy named ♥♥♥♥ing frequency vibrations. Dumbest name ever. theres so much talking in the cut scenes but nothing really happened except for vic dying. When we had to go from college to nba theyre talking like we had a choice to stay in college but no we didnt. The jordan shoes cut scene didnt make sense, the vic cut scenes are as if we can choose if we want to dump him. NOTHING HAPPENED! this year draft was SO BAD, it really killed the expectations. Last year was so much better tbh, at least we had decisions to make that would really make a difference.

Aside of that, here are also some issues that really bothered me. I play as a 6'8 SF, they only let us max out our speed until 70, ♥♥♥♥ing 70. I maxed it out and i still run like freq's mom. If i played as a center around 7 foot i would understand but really bruh ♥♥♥♥ing 70 for a 6'8 forward? Also if your teammate wears the number u want you cant wear it, not like previous games. Lets all be honest, this year's my career is a disappointment

Remember i just finished my rookie season, if any of you played 2nd season and it gets better please let me know

last years mycareer is better due to the fact that u had choices this year not so much. I'm on my 20th game second season and i only had 3 interviews that had some type of choice. Other than that its just me playing games than right back to that stupid new interface or my court. dont get me wrong it did improve in some areas but they also took away a lot of stuff that made you be apart of the story, not just watch but ''BE THE STORY'' LOL 2k full of sh**.And so is Spike Lee with that over hyped trash that i had to sit through.

I'll tell you when they make it so that career mode works past the first season. As is, 9 times out of ten when I try to play a game (about 8 games into season 2 atm) the client just closes inexplicably.

All that hype was wasted on this 'feature film'. I had nothing to do with 'MYcareer'. It was about a guy with an awful name who is the steriotypical Da Hood guy and his stupid decisions and awful people around him. ''Be the Story'' ? Man Get that ♥♥♥♥ out of here. Can you LIE even more ?

Not to mention they wasted the Rookie season....AGAIN. No chance to get Rookie of the Year...AGAIN.

The only good thing about it was that it last only 1 season. Because I was about to punch the monitor if I ever saw Vic and his crazy idiocy again while your Kardashian GF and your Twin ( who is black even if you pick a white guy....because logic ) keep fighting and your Spike Lee shoe-in Italian American agent...along with another white steriotype of a money grubbing a-hole team owner....Such a 'great' story indeed....

And I can't believe people defending it by saying '' Oh it gives your player a personality ! ''. HELL NO. If that is the personality they force upon my player, I would delete that player in a heart-beat AND it is not even MY player anymore since I had NO say in what he does. I would've been more optimistic if my performance on-the-court would change some stuff in cutscenes but you only play 8 NBA games in total which means nothing...filler so they can call it ''Oh it is still a game ''. So far the worst wasted season or start of an Nba 2k mycareer I've ever seen.

It had so much potencial... but wasted...
I saw all my years in college being resumed to 4 games, and NO cutscene of my character's life in his college years.
How he meet his girlfriend? did his sister joined them? People Liked him or not?
Well, I guess it did not matter, cause even if they showed everything above, i would not have a choice in anything...
I genuinely feel that I have less saying in the history now, them when I played NBA 2k11 - at least i had a press conference with 4 dialogue options that I COULD CHOOSE.

I CANT "BE THE STORY", because cant choose ♥♥♥♥..

Career mode is garbage this year and so was last years. Once your first season is up in 2k16 there isn't anymore cut scenes except maybe a press conference here and there in Season 2 and on wards, but that's it. Don't know what happened to the 90 minute cut scenes and hours of content but it's not there. Neither the playoff,conference, NBA finals logos. Same scoreboard. Basically same GM mode with minor updates. NBA 2K15 part 2.

I agree, the stats are a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke. You want realism? A player with even my max stats would struggle to make an NBA roster every year. Why play if you can only make a basket 30% of the time.

Feature film is great and all, but it's my carrer, we need options from the start. Not just college or high school selection. There are some many times I wish a choice can be made by me. Not being offensive, but why only have a default story with a black family and twin? The stats progression is worse than last year as well...hate the category system and the stats are so low for default value and max value..
