NBA 2K16 vs. 2K15 ~ Which to go with at this point?

I just want to start off by saying I'm a huge fan of the NBA 2K franchise and have played just about every version up unti 2K14 and subsequently dropped off the map.

I've been reading plenty of reviews on 2K15 and 2K16 and it comes back to single vs online play. I'm thinking of picking up 2K16 but from what I'm seeing about it would it just be better off to pick up 2K15?

I'm not a big online player and that seems to the primary issue other than the My Career mode story line. Thanks for the input guys and gals!

Don't listen to negative reviews. People are dissing this game because a) they didn't like Spike Lee's storyline b) complain about hackers online c) complain about being banned by hacking.

Other than that - gameplay is 1000000x better than NBA 2k15 and that should be the main case.

2k15 dude. This game is absolutely bugged out. The only guys who like it so far are those that spend all their days running around MyPark and don't actually experience anything of those said bugs because the Park doesn't have any besides the music cutting out. Anybody who played anything besides MyPark must and will have noticed major technical issues with the game.

Don't be fooled by people who claim that the gameplay is improved. Yes to some extent but that doesn't actually make up for the awful state this game is in as of right now. There are nearly 1.000 negative Reviews... I doubt all of those people were banned. Read them, especially the longer ones, and you will see the issues this game has and then decide whether you can live with them. Overall I would suggest you pick up 2k15 when it's on sale because for a 50 bucks game this release isn't even a beta.

On second thought how about voting with your wallet and not spending any money on 2k at all? I personally think this would send the stronger message. Get Fifa 16 instead or how about getting a console and playing Madden, NHL or MLB the show? Blood Bowl also has a new iteration, there is also Rocket League or you could go for UFC or Fight Night. The choice is basically all up to you.

If you can't notice the changes between 2K15 and 2K16 then you must be dumb.

Everything has been improved... sure 2K16 has it's peformance issues but that shouldn't completely ruin your experience especially since they've got a lot of patches to still come out so they can fix them.
