I can't move? Need help.

I got NBA 2k16 through HumbleBundle and let it install overnight. I just booted it and decided to start on MyCareer first. Once I got to the part where they introduce MyCourt and you run around and practice in your court, I can't move. I tried pressing start, B, A, and every button on the controller but nothing seems to do the trick. I tried plugging in my wired Xbox360 controller only to be met with the same problem.

I started a MyTeam Domination game to see if it persisted through all game modes and it does, except I could press start and navigate the pause menu in MyTeam. Can someone help me out? I've logged so many hours in all the other 2K games, feel like this will be the same.

Hey, I was in the same situation however with a wireless PS4 controller but I thought I might share this here anyway just incase it fixes your problem. If you navigate to the first game and pause immediately, go to the controller settings (the menu where you can change the buttons) and then hit the bumpers until it says the controller you are using instead. This worked for me and I have successfully finished one game using this method. Not yet sure if it will revert every game however I will put in an edit once I find this out.
