My carrer is playable again?

hey guys, I would like to start a new career but since the servers are down, I would like to know if I can still unlock all the badges for my player (bronze,silver ,gold...) or am I limiting?

even if it doen't work, you can always use CE to get those badges

From what I have read you can use CE, I tried it and its a nightmare and didnt work though. Also Bitdefender flagged it, and so did Malwarebytes, I saw a video on youtube where someone shows that the bronze to gold badges MAY not make a difference in offline mode. Only having the badge itself is enough maybe to get the max benefit?

I cant confirm it, I googled the crap out of it, but I guess 2k doesnt want us to know whether or not our offline characters are actually gimped statwise with only bronze badges. But the guy on youtube seems fairly certain that it makes no difference to your game not having silver/gold badges. Here is the video.

IF in fact that video is accurate and true. We are only limited to not be able to collect the cool clothes/courts ect. Thats a big if, but honestly they shouldnt have limited that to the online part only. 2k16 is the last basketball game ill ever buy. And 2k is going on my do not buy list for the whole live service micro laden crap, and very limited content without it big publishers do nowadays.
