Probably because it's a complete mess on PC. Worst case scenario: It got removed forever due to complaints and refunds due to how badly it runs on PC. Best case scenario: Maybe they are planning on re-releasing a new port that actually works and plays well.

for years, the listed publisher was unreachable. their homepage appeared to be something entirely different, as if the domain was bought out by another company. never had a sale since a decade ago... the signs were all there.

As some already mentioned, the PC version is a complete mess.
And with Fromsoftware becoming bigger and bigger, more people will dig into their backcatalog.
That also means they will come across this mess and probably flood their support, taking up important time from current titles.

Ninja Blade was never a well received game.
So abandoning it instead of fixing it is, imho, the wiser choice overall.
