I cant launch it either. Launched it for a first time, got freezed when started game, now it cant even launch saying "failed to create direct3d device".

i'm on win10, gfx card is gtx960 nvidia

dxdiag says that i have 12_1, 12_0, 11_1, 11_0, 10_1, 10_0, 9_3, 9_2, 9_1

UPDATE:

So i got this to work... i deleted my profile from "my documents", so that resets game setting to defaults.

That means, one of following stuff was causing that error 1) that i set 1920x1080 instead of 720p 2) vsync or smth 3) frame limit off

So now i'm at 720 with 30 fps (with often drops to 27-29)... oh

hey i finally found he solution......easy...just right click on ninja balade exe.>propertis>compablit>check the box "disable fullscreen optimization">change high dpi settin>check the box "use this settin to fix scaling bla bla bla">check the box "override high dpi scaling bla bla bla" > and then press OK>OK....and then open the ninja blade exe. ,,,it shud working right now

Thank you SO much Ryujin, that worked in latest Win 10.
I also noticed I have to launch from ninja blade exe itself with steam in background otherwise I get a D3D error.
Framerate seems ok, I put V Sync ON in nvidia CPL as per pcgamingwiki, turned it off in game, turned max FR off in game, and set it to 72 in Nvidia CPL (half screen refresh rate).
Seems to be permanently at 72 thus far which is great.
This is the trickiest game I ever had to get running, and without the full screen tip it would have never worked, just constant hanging.

Me too man, and looks amazing on the 1440P screen.. works well with g-sync and everything. Just needed to do some tweaks but not too many to get it working :)
