Are there mods to make Sniper Elite look better?

Are there mods to make Sniper Elite look better? Can they be used with the Steam version?

Using a modification you can change: scope, type of binoculars, sounds and textures and interface.

About changing textures I can say - yes, it is possible. For a singleplayer it's does not make sense to make modifications, the game looks very good; the question is closed. But, for multiplayer (It's still alive) players from around the world have made a lot of modified maps with modified textures. It's are difficult to find, because the links have exhausted their time. But I have a lot of modified maps on my hard drive. ;)

About changed sounds: it's possible to change, but there is almost no mods. I said almost because there are some modifications, but only very few of them.

About changed scopes and binoculars: every Sniper Elite modder was making his scopes, binoculars, changed interface. Without links, unfortunately. But if you want - I will publish all the modifications on my website. ^^

There is also a Map-Pack for the multiplayer, which includes 20 additional multiplayer maps.

You can always try to sweetfx your shiz if its on Directx 9 and up if there are no mods to be found as for this game i dont remember running into any such mods sorry.

I played SE V1 since 05 and I was a big part of the comunity. There are infact maps and scope mods plus other things you can get. however it probably will not work with the steam version. http://ids-clan.webs.com/WEBPROTECT-downloads.htm this link might help.
