Hi there!
We currently have no plans to meet the new requirements of Apple that the company has introduced with the 10.15 update to Catalina.
As a small team whose primary focus is PC/Windows platform (it generates 97% of our revenue), we simply do not have the bandwidth to register with Apple as a certified developer and then to notarize our code.
We were happy to support MacOS since our game launched in 2015, however we are now one of the hundreds of smaller game developers whom Apple has effectively cut out of the eco-system by introducing the new requirements.
Sorry if this disappoints you. I myself am also a Mac owner and I play all my games on Mac, which I for this reason keep at version 10.14.
Here’s a help article from Valve that explains 3 possible versions for you to still continue playing our game on Mac:

Hope this helps!
If at some point in the future we will find the time required to go through the new Apple requirements, then we’ll try to do so. As of now, we have no confirmation if / when this happens.
using catalina, the game starts but then does not connect to a server.. why?
we haven't tested on Catalina as we do not support it, and nobody at the studio has it (I'm still running Mojave to play some of my fav games). sorry about that.
