E11ERY's unnofficial Guide to Blacksea Odyssey: Jungle Bosses
I don't consider myself as particularly good at the game, really. But I am a veteran player with almost 1000 hours of solid gameplay (I have no life, I know.) I have been recording and fighting and working to make an unnoficial guide to every boss fight in the game. Also, I'll rate each boss on a 1-6 diffuculty scale to show players what to take on and what not to take on.

Things NOT to do EVER:
Let a boss shove you into the map edge
Underestimate an enchanted boss
Waste a good healing item (such as using a 100 health heal when you have 60 health left)
Go too near a body part that can insta-kill or very heavily damage you

Jungle Biome

Megalarch
The most dangerous part of Megalarch is surely his tentacles. The blades on them are powerful for sure. Those need to go first. Also, just charge your harpoon to minimum and take out his eyes next, they hardly need any damage to rip and do about 100 damage a piece to Megalarch. If he's not dead at the point, go for the poison spitters. It's easy to avoid his charge as long as you keep away from the terrain. Runes to have: Poison. His tentacle segments can be poisoned seperatly, meaning poison does a lot more damage than it normally would. Difficulty rating: 1

Belch Brothers
Easiest of the bosses in the entire game in my opinion. Avoiding his tonges is easy, just stay at an angle between his heads. He'll try to angle himself so he can hit you, to counter this just keep going in circles around him. His legs really aren't worth the time or effor to rip them, so just keep attacking his center head. Once that's gone, you're pretty much set, as you can just hit the other two heads from a safe point. For when he jumps, try to boost out of the way. If you can't boost, try to hit into the space betwee two of his heads. Runues to have: Rapid damage output, and cannonballs to push him back when he jumps. Difficulty rating: 0.5

Nom Nom Nom
His insane turn speed and spike covered back make him possibly the hardest of the jungle bosses (yes, harder than Charybdis). Staying at a distance is key. First, tear out his eyes, only going close if you have to. Charge your harpoon to full, then dodge to the side as his tongue comes out, flinging the harpoon into his toungue. Quickly boost away so his spikes don't hit you. Rinse and repeat. Another boss you don't want to fight near terrain. Runes to have: Frost trail, ice spear runes. Anything that slows him is good. Difficulty rating. 1.5

Great Ghuza
This armored beast is another very difficult jungle boss but this strategy certainly makes him easier. First of all, don't bother attacking him until his shell is open, hide behind terrain to block his poison balls. Trying to dodge them all is nearly impossible (coming from someone who beat Sans 4 times) and you'll probably just get pelted by poison. when he's open, go straight for the center poison shooter. Stay at a distance so his projectiles can't hit you. Once the center shooter is out, rip out his belly. Ignore the remaining two poison shooters. Get up close to his stomach, and damage it until you hear a grinding noise, a sign his shell is closing. Quickly escape. Rinse and repeat this last step. Runes to have: Slugshot for the final step and Earth Runes. Both are very useful. Difficulty rating: 1 (if you follow this strategy, 1.5 otherwise)

Charybdis
Now, I don't actually find this Kingfish to be very difficult, but I am aware some people consider him very powerful. Here is the quickest and easiest way to rid the world of this oversized vacuum cleaner. First of all, screw the tentacles. Ripping them off is a waste of time. The only thing you need to do with the tentcles is tear off the first segment, severely reducing the likelyhood of getting hit by them. Harpoon into them quickly to avoid being sucked into Charybdis's mouth. Then simply pull off every segment of Charybdis's face, as he dies instantly when all of these are gone. As for the poison balls, if you did like I said and tore off his tentacle tips these should hardly ever come your way. Runes to have: Slugshot and anything else with rapid damage output. You don't have all the time in the world to rip off his face segments. Difficulty rating: 1.5

Hope you found this helpful. If two different people reply to this I'll make a Crystal bosses part tommorow.

I was wondering, how to avoid being killed when charybdis sucks you in. Cause i don't have enough speed to survive this. That's pretty hard...But i never tried harpooning to his tentacles.

It works pretty well, actually. You have to keep moving towards the tentacles, though.

Really cool and helpful guide for sure!:) I fight Nom Nom Nom very differently though, up and close using the harpoon to slow him constantly and eventually ripping off his tail. He pretty much never hits me any more like this.

I'll try that strategy.

I use boost when he starts pulling me in. One or two short boosts and I don't get sucked in.

I use a different strategy for Charybdis, I just harpoon onto the very tip of its tentecles untill i can rip that segment off Then I go up to the next segment rinse and repeat with all the tentecles. then when all the tentacles are gone rip off some mouth pieces.
