I hate this protocol system.
I understand they are basically keys, but their names and placing are absolutely obtuse and frustrating.
Where do I get precept protocol?
Where do I use chromatic protocol?
Where did I even get chromatic protocol?
Their names mean nothing, their descriptions indicate nothing, you can never tell which protocol need where.
Oh yeah sure that one door that said it needed unga bunga protocol 20 hours ago in an area I never had to backtrack to because it was instantly circumvented with shortcut? I sure have remember all 30 of those.

This is something you need wiki for, and wiki for this game doesn't exist. Or guide. Or anything.
Would it be too hard to make keys and doors color coded so you could at least have a chance to remember where did you see red door?
Or for them to have at least semblance of coherency? Like I dunno ice keys being usable in ice world, or fire keys being usable in fire world.
But no, enjoy figuring out where to get Aria Key. Or better yet where to use after you got one.
Does it unlock door to armor shrine and sub boss? Does it unlock chest? Does it unlock both? Where?
Good luck figuring it out.

Yes I am quite frustrated after randomly roaming the game for 10 hours in vague hope of finding all the keys and doors. I probably just should go do final dungeon and forget about this game forever.

I must have stumbeled upon it yet I have no idea where did I get it. The item description of the inventory reads "Once there was a path leading from the outer echelons of Apex Citadel to Beagor". Maybe it is a clue to its location. Sorry, wish I could help you more but I am sure Mr. Delval can provide much better directions.

Glad to hear you beat him Thomas, if you ask me he is anything but Paralytic, and no problem I'm just glad to help and via a friend I will be making a text and possibly a video guide as well for all keys, chests and doors as well as sub quest lines.

I do not remember the bosses by names so if you can describe either the type of fight it is or the arena description for the first two I can help you find them easly.

In terms of Echo of Arlen it is in Apexion you are best going to the Grand Hall and entering Apexion by the normal enterence. Once there follow the path normall until you reach the 2 sheild enemies and 2 exploding ones, turn around and walk up a path behind you towards the start again and you should find the door there next to a green sheild. (Should be visable once you enter apexion)
Ok so Eho of Arlen is dead. Like you said it was pretty easy to spot the obelisk once i got to Apexion. As far as those two previous bosses go here are the youtube videos of the fighths. Hope thats gonna help.

So for the Peacekeeper you will need to travel to Apexion's Ruined Halls (think that is the name, the one just after library) and follow the path outside to the balcony. Cross the brigde towards the shield enemy and rifleman behind the green shield stick to the right hand side and there is a set of stairs which go downwards the door to access this boss is there.

For the Agitator you will need to go to Apexion again except go to the Citadel Gates obelisk and travel inside as normal once you reach the top of the first set of stairs after the teleporting enemies the door is on your left hand side.

And trombe for the precept protocol travel to the Crimson arena and walk back through the boss fight arena and up the hill towards the three large red enemies with machine guns. Cross over the broken stairs and go in the temple, follow it until you hit a T junction go right into an empty opening and just behind a bush in the back there is a path with the chest containing it there for you.

Hope this helps sorry for late replys.

Your knowledge of the game is amazing.
You could easily put up any sort of guides and be a great help for everyone getting lost.
Mr. Delval Sep 13, 2018 @ 7:16pm
That is something I plan to do Trombe, but first I'm aiming for all achievements I'm almost there but I think I will need to wait till a patch to get the last few lore bits I need and need to restart in order to finish the lost memories one since it bugged on me :(

I'm currently wanting to work with a friend to finish a list of all the doors and chests as well as what they require to unlock it is just going to take a while lol

If there is any other locations required or such you guys can always ask on here and I will try my best to help.

well i need some help, just to figure out a thing: are the quest keys necessary to complete the lore items achievement? I failed 2 quests and got 2 doors who "require key to unlock"...
Other thing, the doors in the main hall are all 6 openable? cause i can't open 2 of them (looking the artifact, the middle one in the left and the third one in the right)..

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this system. It adds some novelty to replaying areas you've already cleared. :3

2 of the doors in the grand hall are not openable and yes you require the hunter key to collect some of the lore objects, the other two do not count.

Damn, so i have to start a new game to collect the hunter's lore.... or better wait the ng+?
Mr. Delval Sep 14, 2018 @ 6:07am
I would wait till NG+ if you want since there are a lot of collectibles for the lore achievement and a lot are currently missable.
