Best early weapon to upgrade?

I have so many white weapons but I don't know, which one can be used up until late game when upgraded. Unlocked all spheres, and I wanna know which white rarity weapon or green is best to upgrade. Help!

you could upgrade the Imperial Executor a few times, it's a solid weapon. But you'll get better weapons soon if you've already unlocked all the spheres. Remember, though, that you get some upgrade materials refunded when you disassemble upgraded weapons, i.e. when switching to a better weapon of the same type you've found.

I see! Currently I'm in this sanctum in Arden (behind the sphere) and should I push more or upgrade the said weapon? Cause it's taking many hits to down a single enemy.
