So what's the best build?

To get some really sick dmg or whatever is good in this.

I definitely want to use shotguns, unless they suck ass to badly.

Beste Build is Shotgun and finding this special shotgun:
Orin's weapon, you get it in the Orin questline. This weapon makes unbelievable damage.

WHy do you need str it doesnt seem to affect scaling, do you need a lot to be able to equip better shotguns?

You know I really don't like when Souls or any game makes such things missable.

Any tips on it as I can't find a guide. In this particular instance I don't really care about spoilers.

Yes they need a bit of str to equip them. Also you will start appreciating having a decent melee weapon as an alternative with all that str as it does good dmg and saves you some shotgun ammo.
