Question about the sandbox campaign?
I've been attempting to play the sandbox campaign. I'm playing with full armies, Destroy the enemy. The battles seem really short. Once I make contact with the enemy durring battle and skirmish for a while the battle ends abruptly either saying Major victory or Defeat. The thing is, the causulties are super low for both sides. I just got done playing a battle where I had manuvered my corp and surounded the enemy. Then the battle ended with fewer than 1,200 casualties both sides combined. Is there any setting that I can mess with to make the battles more descisive? I would really like the battles to go until an army retreats off the field. I know how to set the settings for regualar sandbox battles, I just wan't to know if its possible for the sandbox campaign.

The sandbox campaign battle end for two reason: time expiration (here some kind of battle end before others, I don't remember well but I think those where you need to conquest a objective in a specific time end in half hour, but not sure) or because the AI decides to retreat because of losses: the losses level depend from the enemy command style, anyway it varies between 21-30 % of force in the field.

Thank you for the feedback. This next question is probably best directed toward the mod fourm on ya'lls website. I'll ask it there too. Is their any file that holds the settings for the sandbox campaign that I might be able to tweak?

For the losses ending you have to mod directly the battle AI code in the routine which determine the losses rate. About the battle parameters I don't think there's a mode because is the campaign routine which sets them
