Is it possible to bind the mouse to "turn" the screen left of right by degrees instead of just sliding it left or right. Like I said I like the total war control schema. It's standard camera for RTS games all over. I know this is more complex but it could really take on board some of those default keyboard layouts.
Primary camera controls should never be more than moving the mouse, no clicking. I consider turning the camera left and right to be primary mouse controls. Once I have moved left or right I then continue forward. Like a car or an FPS basically. Side strafe has always been a secondary optional movement and extra key.
