Scourge of War: Waterloo

Scourge of War: Waterloo

How do I bring up the "command map?"
Apparently, I'm supposed to "press the "n" key with the commander selected." When I press the N key nothing happens. Neither does the menu pop up when I press escape...

Indeed. None of my keyboard shortcuts worked. I did the copying file thing and I'm now much more able to command! Thanks! Also: I do have a question... how do you send people to specific map coordinates with the courier system. This game's interface is much better than SoWG, but it appears the courier system lacks the ability to order anyone anywhere aside from marked locations... how does one do that...? Do I have to turn the courier option (from, say, division on up) on?
I don't think it's possible in Waterloo right now. AFAIK they do want to get it in at some point.

If you're commanding AI troops in singleplayer then you can just use the map to order troops around though. Select the troop you want to move, open the map by pressing N and then left click anywhere on the map to give the order to move there. Once the order is recieved, you will be able to see a red indicator (a red square with a red cross in it I think) showing the destination of that unit on the map.
Thanks. A bit dissapointing about the courier system though-- twas one of my favourite things about Gettysburg. Alas, Waterloo's still an awesome game, I'll just have to wait for the devs to implement the Civil War games's best feature.
