Zero delay occurs, if the aircraft is stopped short of the runway;
25% faster acceleration on takeoff roll;
A 0.5% increase in player efficiency.
The effects of an immediate takeoff are very slight, as in real life. I could bump this up if people like, but I don't want it too easy. In hindsight, I dislike that I'm rewarding players for using the feature. Perhaps there should be a penalty for inconveniencing the pilots, as it is hard work to perform an "immediate takeoff".
I will of course sulk when that stress meter declares GAME OVER, but still...
Thank you for the explanation. So, unless changed in the future, Immediate Take-off has a slight advantage (for now).
ATC3 does NOT penalize you in the form of stress gauge for not maintaing proper separation or head on. Those two are automatic Game Over should it ever happened.
Stress gauge on ATC3 is only there to penalize tailwind take off, unjustified go-around, and delay, either letting the plane wait too long or arrival dealy of 15 minuts or longer.
I do agree the idea to implement a penalty for the use of immediate take off, so that player does not use it on regular basis.
