Just as a note, the Sig P229 doesn't come chambered in .45 ACP, the only offerings are 9x19mm (9mm Para/Luger), .357 SIG, and .40 S&W. Standard issue for the US Army is still the M9 combat pistol as far as I was aware and the SEALS carry the P228's bigger sibling the P226. The P228 (M11 Combat Pistol) is/was an issue gun for the USAF but most notably the P228 was the issue firearm for the FBI. In the Military the M11 Combat Pistol was issued as one of a few options for pilots in the Army and Air Force because it is smaller than the full frame M9 (Beretta M92FS).
I don't think we should have anything from Arise, because that was
a Remake...
Just saying...
Am I wrong to think that?
I can confirm the devs statements about being at work on the Seburo weapons I saw them too.
That is true the P229 can be chambered with 9mm, .357 SIG and .40 S&W, I didn't write the full spec and wrote .45 by mistake. The US Navy Seals have both P226 and P229 available and the P228 is the designated M11 for US Army and US Navy, but is about to be replaced by a new M11A1 P229 version through the Modular Handgun System. Yes the US Air Force uses the M11b version of the P228.
I thought they wanted to add weapons from the movies too but yes that makes sense since the game is Called GITS Stand Alone Complex and the story seems to be based off of that series. Maybe there should be Stand Alone Complex weapons only.
Ok thanks for clearing this out! I wonder if the team will prioritize deployment of weapons that get a lot of requests from players... If so I hope this discussion helps them select the next ones!
Gouda's CIS agent crony in episode 26 / Section 9 operatives / Batou in episode 24
now i can run for them which are the best ... i wasted cash, GP+XP and a lot of time
will not happen again ^^)
Great. I'd like to get my hands on a Seburo C-26A or 30. For me, that's a signature Shirow Masamune firearm.
