MotioninJoy: safe or not?
Okay so I'm recently playing the game and as a FPS player myself (normally Call of duty) I much prefer to use my ps3 controller rather than the built-in controller settings on the keyboard. I've checked on youtube tutorials to set up my controller to my PC via motioninjoy. Unfortunately there's a handful of people stating motioninjoy is unsafe, it's malware etc. but others say it works and they can play using their controllers. I'm not too keen on the idea of downloading a possible virus, but given what these tutorials show it seems Motioninjoy is the top software. I really wanna play better despite being a Noob but come on dudes help me out! Is motioninjoy safe or are there any other softwares trustworthy of helping to set my PS3 controller to my pc!

Hey man maybe this will help you out:

Although i would recommend practicing with mouse and keyboard personally, but everyone has their own choices. Best of luck and frag a lot.

I think Motioninjoy turned out to be adware or something like that. I can't even find it to download it anymore.

However, I strongly recommend you get used to Mouse and Keyboard for a game like this. Playing with a controller is a HUGE disadvantage in PC when it comes to FPS and you'll most likely do poorly.

Use mouse and keyboard.

Anything else will put you at a harsh disadvantage.

I use SCP server to connect a PS3 controller and it's great. I would highly recommend it for controller users. However I was testing out the sensitivity settings for this game, and unfortunately it's deliberately bias against controlllers. It seems to refuse to increase sensitivity after a certain point. Perhaps it's how SCP manages it's own settings but I've never had that issue with another game. You will find yourself at a disadvantage against mouse users because of it. I've been using a controller on this game since I got it and I'm thinking about going mouse and keyboard. It annoys the crap out of me that I feel that I have to do that but I honestly don't see how to get arround it.

I recommend not bothering with a controller. The majority of the people you'll play against are going to be using a mouse/keyboard, and you're almost certainly going to get completely wrecked as there's no form of aim assist unlike console titles that are designed to be played with controllers.
