Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - First Assault Online

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - First Assault Online

Japanese audio / English subtitles / Original Soundtrack?
I was actually looking forward to this game at some point.

For people who don't know, 'Ghost in the Shell' originates from a Japanese manga series published in 1989. Which got animated by Mamoru Oshii whom worked closely with Production I.G in 1995.

That being said, this game should have at least provide the option to select Japanese voice narrative/radio with optional subtitles in English. This is absolutely absurd... and shame on those whom decided to dub everything in English, it feels almost uncanny.

Also what's up with the soundtrack / bgm? Why isn't there any original soundtracks like:
M01 Chant I - Making of Cyborg
M05 Chant II - Ghost City
M10 Chant III - Reincarnation

Speaking about the game, this is just another CrossFire and A.V.A. (Alliance of Valiant Arms) ... Exactly same game mechanics.

I'm very disappointed Neople and Nexon, good luck munching on the microtransaction system, which makes it less player skill orientated and more pay-to-win. This makes the game largely unbalanced even for people who have skill in the game without paying.

Close, the game is based off of the Stand Alone Complex series, which has a soundtrack produced by a different composer.

As far as I know, none of Kenji's music was used in SAC. So it would probably require separate licensing due to the '95 movie and the SAC series being released by different companies.

I wish there was a way to play on the U.S. servers with the Japanese or Korean interface and voiceovers though.

The developers have said they are looking into having the Japanese VO Dubbing included into the game. As for Soundtrack Music, I don't feel that it would adapt appropraitely to a video game and that the best choice for authenticity would be hiring the composer from the original source material to lend his talents to development. In reality that probably isn't going to happen for a variety of reasons including the fact that just because you can write music for one media type (movies\TV shows) doesn't mean you can do it just as effectively in another (Video Games).
